Neisseria gonorrhoeae is a sexually transmitted Gram-negative bacterium that can infect the genitals, rectum, and throat. Recently, emerging strains of multi-drug resistant (MDR) N. gonorrhoeae have made infections difficult to treat. Young people ages 15-24 years are at highest risk for contracting gonorrhea.

TransPharm has validated this pathogen in the following model:

  • Vaginal infection

Additional validations are available upon request.
